Masala Roti

Masala Roti

For Dough
Wheat Flour – 1 cup
Besan – 1 cup
Finely chopped onion – 1 (large size)
Chopped Green chillies – 2 (optional)
Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp (optional)
Salt to taste

Mix flour and besan. Add chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well. Add ghee and knead to a smooth dough by adding water. Keep it aside for 15 minutes. Divide the dough into medium size balls. Take a ball and roll it into a circle like a roti/chapati (about 6 inches in diameter) using little flour for dusting. Put the roti on a hot tawa and cook from both sides until little brown spots appear. Serve hot with butter, pickle, curd or tea.
