Soya Bhurji recipe | Soya Granules Bhurji | How to make Soya Bhurji?

Soya Bhurji is a simple and nutritious dish. Soya bhurji is made in different styles. I made it using soya granules, fresh green peas and little garlic paste. Garlic paste adds its unique flavour and taste to the soya bhurji. This soya bhurji is rich in protein and calcium. I am sure your kids will also love it. You can stuff it into chapattis or parathas and pack for their lunchboxes. You can also use this bhurji as a filling in sandwiches.

Ingredients

Soya Granules – 1 cup
Boiled Green Peas – 1/2 cup
Chopped Onions – 1/4 cup
Chopped Tomatoes – 1/2 cup
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method

Soak soya granules in water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and squeeze excess water out. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add onions and saute till they become light brown in colour. Add garlic paste and tomatoes and cook them for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add green peas and soya granules. Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Your soya bhurji is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with paratha or roti. You can stuff it into chapattis or parathas and pack for their lunchboxes. You can also use this bhurji as a filling in sandwiches.

Soya Granules

This soya bhurji is a good source of protein and calcium which is good for growing bones. Soya granules are good for health if taken in adequate amount. Soya granules are cent percent vegetarian. Soya granules are good for diabetics, expectant mothers, growing children, and weight-watchers. Soya granules are low in fat and sodium.
