This Broccoli curry is
Indian style recipe. This is an easy creamy vegetable gravy recipe for chapati, roti or paratha. Broccoli curry recipe
is tasty and very simple to make. Broccoli gives super taste to this curry
recipe. The Broccoli curry is so delicious and I am sure that your children will
also love it. To make this broccoli curry recipe, I have used onions, tomatoes,
and simple masalas along with broccoli.

Ingredients
Broccoli – 300 gms
Onions finely chopped – 2 (medium)
Tomato finely chopped – 3 (medium)
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red Chilli powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method
Wash the broccoli florets in running water and cut
them into small florets. Keep them aside. Boil water in a pan with a pinch of salt.
When water starts boiling, add in the cut broccoli florets and boil it further
for 2 minutes and turn off the flame. Drain the water immediately and keep
boiled broccoli florets aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add chopped onions
and sauté till they are golden in colour.
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for half a minute. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric
powder, coriander powder, red chili
powder and mix well. Add salt and mix well and sauté till tomatoes are pulpy.
Turn off the heat and let it cool. When the gravy masala at room temperature, take
it in a blender and grind it to a smooth paste. Use little water to make it a smooth
paste if you are going to serve this broccoli curry with chapatti, roti or
paratha. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Saute until cumin seeds cracks.
Add gravy paste and saute for 2-4 minutes. Add little water
if required. Then add boiled broccoli florets and mix well. Add garam masala and mix
well. Cover and cook till broccoli florets are well cooked. Stir the curry till you get
the desired consistency. Serve hot with chapatis, rotis or parathas.
