Potato Poha (Aloo Poha) is a north Indian dish. Poha (Pressed rice) with
potato, green peas, and seasoning make it

boiled potatoes and green peas, this Poha recipe can be made in a few minutes. Potato

Ingredients
Poha (Pressed rice)
-- 1 cup
Boiled Potato cubes –
2 tbsp
Boiled Green Peas – 2
tbsp
Mustard Seeds -- 1/4
tsp
Oil -- 1-2 tbsp
Peanuts -- 1tbsp
Turmeric powder -- 1/4
tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1/4
tsp
Curry Leaves – 4-5
Chopped Onions – 1 (small
sized)
Lemon Juice -- 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method
Pick the poha. Put poha
in a strainer and rinse it under running water but do not let it soak too long
in the water else it will get mushy. Heat oil in a pan. Add peanuts and fry till
they are golden brown in colour and keep
them aside. Then add mustard seeds and let them pop. Add the onions and saute
the onions until they become soft. Now add the curry leaves, boiled potatoes, boiled
peas and roasted peanuts and saute for one minute. Add the turmeric powder and
red chili powder. Mix well and saute over
low heat. Add salt and poha. Mix and saute
until mixed and heated well for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
