Palak Bhujia recipe is a simple
and quick yet tasty recipe of spinach. It is very famous in north India. Palak bhaji
recipe is a healthy recipe prepared with fresh palak leaves (spinach). Spinach
stir fry has high nutritional values and health benefits. It is an amazing side
with any meal. It goes very well as a side dish along with dal-rice or dal-chapatti.

Ingredients
Palak Leaves (Spinach) – 500
gms
Oil – 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Chopped Onions – 1/2 cup
Chopped Tomatoes – 1/2 cup
Chopped Garlic – 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chilies – 2
Asafoetida – A pinch
Salt to taste
Method
Remove stalk from the palak leaves
(Spinach). Wash and chop the palak leaves finely. Heat oil in a kadai. When the oil is sufficiently hot. Add
cumin seeds, let them crackle. Add chopped onions and saute until translucent.
Add asafetida, chopped garlic, chopped tomatoes and chopped
green chilies. Saute for few seconds until light brown in colour. Add chopped palak leaves and salt. Mix
well and saute for 2 minutes. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Check it after 3
minutes. Now cook it for 2-3 more minutes and let the excess moisture
evaporates. Put off the flame. Palak Bhujia is ready. Now transfer the Palak bhujia to a bowl. Serve hot along with chapatis,
puris, parantha or rice.
